Great Game!

thanks :)

Not bad of a game. I liked the premise, graphics, and the direction. The monster is a bit shallow where it doesn't really walk around, but rather stays on a really short fixed path. I would make the AI pathing longer to hide that design flaw. Plus it made it less scary when you can see it does not pose a threat. The story was great, but a couple parts were missing for me. One, what note? I just teleported to the woods and claimed I read a note. Two, what's the artifact main purpose? Keep at it and I hope to see more from you.

your game is the last one in the video

Thanks for the feed back :)

sorry about the bugs, i fixed a lot of  them now :) hopefully there wont be too many more

Thanks!

Pros and cons are down below) Check out my vid here (likes and subs are highly and highly appreciated)):

Advantages:

1. I liked the story a lot even though it has some holes in the plot (the 2d point in the disadvantages section). I think it was pretty cool that there were several chapters and locations to explore.

2. I liked that it was pretty logical where to go at all times. The player was either led forward by the lights or the gates. Really enjoyed that.

3. I think the witch was pretty scary. She had some nice dance moves as well) Great job creating a scary-looking monster! I got scared a couple of times especially when I didn't expect her to come at me (near the end of the game that happened).

Disadvantages:

1. What are the villagers doing? Before the disappearance, they are at least seem to be picking flowers and at the end of the game, their actions make no sense at all. Kind of weird.

2. The person who stole the rock left the note before the witch killed them and before the disappearance. How could they know about the disappearance? And if they knew, why couldn't they bring the stone back themselves? And why is the main character - the only one to survive the witch and the only one that hasn't disappeared. I feel like the story could have been a bit smoother. And if they knew that everybody has disappeared, why would they leave a note in the first place?

Overall:

I think the game was pretty cool. The plot was the main advantage of the game but it still had some holes (or the story just didn't explain some moments) so I rate the game 4/5 stars. I feel that there's still room for further development but it was a pretty good game nonetheless!

Hope my feedback was useful!

thanks for the feedback, it will help me a lot :)

To answer your questions:

1] Since this game was made using free assets and since I am very bad at animating those were the only available animations lol

2] The person who stole the rock was an expert on the witch and studied it for years. He knew about how terrifying the witch was and its powers. The witch killed the man who stole the rock before he could return it. Basically, he was selfish and cared more about his research. He left the note because he knew his actions would come back and haunt him. Since the main character was in the richer district of the city the witch didn't notice him. (I don't know if this is kinda lazy..sorry lol)

This game was pretty good! Pretty scary, and I actually liked the gameplay a lot! Besides the fact that the witch can phase through doors 😂 Good game 👍🏾

This was a lot of fun! I really didn't expect to get as scared as I did, genuinely made me scream a few times. Great work!

Thanks! :)

For a game made completely with free assets, that was solid!!

Thank you! :)

Loved the visuals and the storyline! And it's really cool that you recreated the village life.

Glad you liked it!

Short, but a good game. The tension that the game passed on me was very convincing. Congrats!

Thanks appreciate it!

I got a good time playing this! :3 Do more! :D

glad you liked it!

I really enjoyed this! It was simple but effective and I like that you never really get a good look at the monster, it keeps the mystery alive!!

thanks a lot :)
